Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in air conditioning systems, with the ability to Install, maintain, and repair various types of equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the capability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Leadership skills will be an advantage as you may be required to oversee junior engineers or apprentices.

Duties

• install and maintain air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct regular inspections and servicing of air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose faults in equipment and implement effective repair solutions.
• Read and interpret technical schematics to assist with installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with other engineering staff to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within deadlines.
• Provide guidance and training to junior engineers or apprentices when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with a focus on air conditioning systems.
• Experience in equipment repair and maintenance within the HVAC industry.
• Ability to read and understand schematics related to air conditioning systems.
• Strong leadership skills with the capability to mentor less experienced team members.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

This role requires a hands-on approach, ensuring that all plumbing systems are functional, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.

Duties

• Design and develop plumbing systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing installations to ensure quality and safety.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate plumbing solutions into building designs.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and installation tasks.
• Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Skills

• Proficient in basic maths for calculations related to plumbing design and installation.
• Ability to weld various materials as needed for plumbing systems.
• Valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for transporting equipment to job sites.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to understand complex plumbing systems.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Capability to plumb various fixtures accurately according to specifications.
• Skills in assembling components of plumbing systems efficiently.
• Familiarity with carpentry skills is a plus for integrated project tasks.
